Are you working to help feral cats in your community, or want to learn how? Then you may want to attend the 2006 National Feral Cat Summit this Saturday, Sept. 9, at the South San Francisco Conference Center.
Presented by New York-based Neighborhood Cats, the conference features sessions on topics, such as funding trap, neuter and release programs; advanced feral cat colony care; how to organize a mass spay day; and working with wildlife groups to protect cats and birds.
Among the event’s speakers are: the ASPCA’s Debora Bresch, who’ll be on hand to discuss “Feral Cats, TNR and the Law,” and keynote speaker Daniel Crain, executive director of San Francisco’s SPCA.
