School is starting, fall is approaching, and the holidays are just around the corner. Start preparing now by placing your order for pet-themed holiday cards. Animal shelters and humane organizations make selecting a design easy through online ordering. Choose from designs depicting cats, kittens, dogs, puppies and more.
The Houston Humane Society features original cards with artwork created by local artists Bill Gerrish and Tamara Miller-Lee. Each full-color card depicts one of the official shelter mascots—Annie and Burnie, the dogs, Nosey the cat or Cochise the horse—in everyday or holiday surroundings. Each pet’s personal story is displayed on the back of the card. View the order form here.
You can support the efforts of the American Humane Association by ordering holiday cards at the Holiday Card Center website. Choose from hand-drawn or photographic designs featuring cats, kittens, puppies and dogs. Some cards feature holiday backgrounds or Santa themes, while others offer simple winter greetings.
National Geographic offers a range of holiday card designs: outdoor holiday scenes, holiday birds, holiday wildlife, Santa with companion animals or dogs and cats. The organization offers designs from previous years as well as new products. Visit the Holiday Card Center website here.
