Siberian Tiger Cubs Introduced at Zoo in Tennessee
The Little Ponderosa Zoo outside Clinton, Tenn., recently welcomed two Siberian tiger cubs, donated to the zoo. The zoo will have a special event to open the new $50,000 tiger facility Sept. 20, The Oak Ridger (Tenn.) reports.

Sacramento Drive Seeks Larger Sanctuary for Homeless Cats
Happy Tails, which for 15 years has been rescuing and finding homes for cats and kittens in Sacramento, launched a capital campaign to transform a former real estate office into a larger sanctuary for homeless felines. A local architect is donating his services to convert the former GBC Realty office at 60th Street and Folsom Boulevard, said founder Melinie diLuck, The Sacramento (Calif.) Bee reports.
