Cheyenne Considers Scaling Back Rabies Requirement
Dogs and cats in Cheyenne, Wyo., might soon be required to get a rabies shot only every three years instead of the annual shot that’s currently required. Pet owners would still need to get a current rabies tag from a veterinarian, serving as proof of immunization and annual registration, the Associated Press reports.

Kitten Rescued After Jumping Off Bridge
The Ringling Bridge in Sarasota, Fla., was the site of a big event Monday, when a kitten jumped off the top of the structure and was rescued. The black kitten, dubbed the Causeway Kitty, jumped from the highest point of the bridge, falling nearly 65 feet into the bay, WWSB ABC 7 News (Fla.) reports.
