Colorado State Police troopers ticketed a woman for careless driving after she rolled her car while her two cats were fighting in her lap. The feline fracas broke out as the woman was driving along Interstate 70 and caused her to lose control of the vehicle, United Press International reported Tuesday from Grand Junction, Colo.

More Cities Implement Breeder Permits
Breeding cats became a bit costlier for Carla Turner in June. The San Antonio resident has been a Bengal cat breeder for years, but it wasn’t until she tried to place an ad for her most recent litter that she realized she needed the city’s permission to sell the kittens. San Antonio has joined a growing number of communities mandating pet owners pay for licenses when their pets give birth if they intend to sell the offspring or give them away. Part of the ordinance requires ads placed for the animals to include the license number, according to Jeff Hale, director of San Antonio’s Animal Care Services, USA Today reports.
