A federal lawsuit is challenging the constitutionality of animal control laws in Spokane, Wash., including provisions allowing for the immediate euthanasia of cats. How sad about this zoo. I wonder how well these animals are taken care of and their health means met. I will say a prayer for the poor man that died in the mauling.

I agree with Patty Schoendorf. There should always be a time period before an animal is put down so that if the cat is lost someone may come in and claim him. Also, how do these people know how sick the animal is. There should be a vet on hand to deal with this.
