Bolt is an action star — a canine action star, that is, who doesn’t know he’s one. When he gets trapped in a box and ends up in New York City, he has to rely on his experience saving his owner from danger to find his way back to her. In “Bolt,” the Disney animated movie that opens in theaters this weekend, the white German shepherd (voiced by John Travolta) receives help in his quest from a black alley cat named Mittens.

Mittens is tough as nails, living on the streets of New York and exerting her feline power over the other animals in the neighborhood. Sensing that something might be in it for her if she helps the lost dog, Mittens (voiced by Susie Essman of HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm") agrees to help Bolt find his owner, Penny. Along their way back to Los Angeles, the pair pick up another companion, Rhino the hamster (voiced by Mark Walton), who rarely leaves his plastic hamster ball.

Directed by Byron Howard and Chris Williams and executive-produced by John Lasseter, “Bolt” also stars Miley Cyrus as the voice of Penny, Bolt’s owner. The film will be shown in 3-D in some theaters.

I saw the non 3-D movie of Bolt 11 seperate times since November 2008.
I don`t care for the 3-D version.
I love Mittens! I forgot to mention I am a cat lover.
I also love Bolt when he was a puppy.
This movie I recomend for older kids only because it is rated PG.
This movie contains funny scenes, peril scenes.
