Parents Sue Zoo, City in Fatal Tiger Attack
The parents of a San Jose teenager who was mauled to death by a Siberian tiger at the San Francisco Zoo last Christmas Day sued the city and the zoo Tuesday, saying zoo officials ignored warnings that the walls of the tiger’s enclosure were dangerously low, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Christmas Comes Early for Six Flags Tiger Cubs
Christmas came early for two Bengal tiger cubs at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, Calif. During the cubs' daily walk (the cats wear collars and leashes when they go out), the park's staff gave them wrapped boxes containing stuffed animals, NBC Bay Area (Calif.) News reports.
