A white cat resting on a pair of shoes won the second Picture Perfect Pet Contest launched by WEtv.com, and for this year’s competition, the women’s entertainment site is once again seeking snapshots of cats and dogs for a chance to win $5,000 cash.

The third contest challenges pet owners to prove that their pet is the “cutest” around.  Photos are judged on a 1-10 scale – 1 being “cute” and 10 being “picture perfect.”

The second runner-up last year was a puppy sprawled on a green lawn. Winners are selected by a panel of WEtv pet experts, with the user ranking being taken into consideration. Two runners-up will be chosen to receive a $2,500 cash prize each.

From now through Feb. 15, pet owners from around the country can upload images of their furry friends. Submissions will be posted on the website, where visitors can browse photos and cast votes.

Pets of all ages and types are welcome to enter.

I am nine years old and Annie is my little Christmas kitty who I want to subbmit in the picture perfect pet contest. She was caught in a trap as a stray kitten and we agreed to socialize her. She is now a cute and playful house cat and I love her. I think this contest is a great way to show off all our pets.
