I have two cats that are leash trained. Sadie stays around the house and yard. If something scares her, she runs for the door. I just have to follow her and let her in. Kiki has gone farther on walks. Though I don't think the word walk applies to a cat. It's more like exploration. If a dog comes by, I'll pick her up to keep her safe. I've had people stop and wonder about my cat on a leash. Also, we more often put them on a lead (tie-out) and of course stay outside with them. I love to sit out on summer nights and watch them hunt the moths. So fun and relaxing.

I LOVE all of these articles! I also walk my 6-month old kitten on a leash with a harness. I know my kitten will be exposed to all the dangerous element thats outside but he already received all of his vaccinations as a kitten suppose to get, so I pretty much doesn't worry about it.
P.S. Blizzard loves the outdoor life!
