I think lowering the fees is a good idea. However, I hope they are still careful about who adopts and they make sure the person is a good person to their animals. I adopted from one shelter that would not adopt to you until they spoke to your vet. I got the kitty.

Why was his cat outside if he was declawed? I am very careful about my cats getting out.

I have read more stories here about cats stuck in trees. That is why my kitties are indoor only kitties.
