Cleveland Animal Protective League's Fur Ball will raise funds for veterinary care for animals needing a second chance. |
The Cleveland Animal Protective League will hold its “Cold Noses, Warm Hearts” annual gala Fur Ball fundraiser on Oct. 3. Proceeds will benefit APL’s Second Chance Fund, which provides veterinary care for animals in need of a
second chance.
Fur Ball 2009 will be hosted by Rebecca Wilde from Cleveland radio station Q104 and will include silent and live auctions, dinner, and a video presentation featuring stories of animals that have benefitted from the fund.
Some of the auction items will include a “Lunch With” series featuring local celebrities and the opportunity to have your pet photographed to be on the cover of the 2011 APL calendar.
The Cleveland Animal Protective League is northeast Ohio’s largest humane society and the nonprofit organization empowered to enforce state and local animal protection laws in Cuyahoga County. Every year thousands of homeless and abused animals arrive at the Cleveland Animal Protective League. No animal is turned away regardless of their age, health or behavior.
