Can it be done? “It will be hard,” admitted Stephen Lenz, Urlesque.com editor. “But cats are overexposed, and they just need some time off away from the glare of the spotlight,” reports the Houston Chronicle.

This is soooooo sad with our economy and all that the stray animals will have to suffer also. I have four kitties and am losing my job of 36 years. I will do whatever I have to, though, to take care of my four kitties. However, there are so many animals out there that won't be taken care of and it is just too sad.

Very, very interesting. I grew up with dogs, cats, bunnies, horses and I feel they do help you as a child. I still have allergies, but none severe around animals. I now only have cats though.

No, there can't be a day without cats on the internet. They are to cute! Why would you even want a day without them?
