Helpmefindmypet is now posting leads on lost, stolen and recovered pets on
Twitter, the popular microblogging site.
The national pet recovery service says it takes a proactive approach to locating and returning lost pets.
Pet owners can choose between two enrollment options at Helpmefindmypet.com. Upon enrollment, a pet’s information is
documented, including the pet’s photo, description, emergency contact information and microchip number, if applicable.
The service works in conjunction with all microchip companies.
When a registered pet is lost or stolen, the service immediately sends a bulletin to members, shelter groups, veterinary clinics, groomers, pet supply retailers and grooming salons in a 50-mile radius of the pet’s last known location.
