Kittens in Macy's Window
Adoptable kittens will grace the San Francisco Union Square Macy's windows from today until Jan. 1.
Macy's and the SF SPCA will unveil holiday windows featuring puppies and kittens up for adoption this week.

This Friday, Nov. 18, at 5:00 p.m. PST, the kittens and puppies will make their debut outside Macy's Union Square at Stockton and O' Farrell in San Francisco.

This year's window theme is "Make a Wish." In the windows, ornaments decorate a tree of hope. Elementary students from the Demarillac Academy will be present to join the treasured tradition and help to unveil the windows.

Macy’s is again partnering with the SF SPCA on the 25th annual holiday windows. The event was voted “One of the 10 best places to press your nose” by USA TODAY.

In 2010, about 300 dogs and cats featured in Macy’s holiday windows found new homes from the adoption center on the Main Floor and more than $70,000 in donations was raised for the SF SPCA.

The adoptable kittens and puppies will appear in the Macy’s Holiday Windows from Friday, Nov. 18, to Sunday, Jan. 1. They also appear online via live webcam here starting This Friday, Nov. 18, at 5:00 p.m. PST.
