Cat stretching on car hood -- Free Cab Rides for Cat Lovers

Bring cat stories to cabs in New York and you could get a free ride anywhere in Manhattan.

From July 18 to July 22, Purina will offer free cab rides to New Yorkers who share stories about cats. “Cat Cabs” will follow the model of popular television show “Cash Cab,” and will let you ride along with cat enthusiasts in the Cat Cabs to capture the funniest cat stories.

The Cat Cabs will operate from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on July 18-20 and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 21-22 in Manhattan, primarily around these key pickup spots: Columbus Circle, Union Square, Central Park, Times Square, Grand Central, Bryant Park, Madison Square Park and Washington Square Park. Purina encourages participants to bring favorite cat pictures and even cat videos to share.
