The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod and the International Fund for Animal Welfare are co-presenting the photographic art exhibit “Our Shared World” beginning on May 14 at the Cotuit Center for the Arts in Cotuit, Mass.

The educational exhibit, which is designed to appeal to viewers of all ages, sends a message regarding the need for animal protection and conservation. The exhibit will showcase award-winning IFAW photographic images from around the globe of animals and people in a variety of habitats.

“‘Our Shared World’ represents a unique opportunity to bring world-class photography with an international, multicultural perspective to the Cape Cod community,” said Arts Foundation of Cape Cod Board President Margaret Van Sciver.

“Our Shared World will highlight the fact that animals, like great art, are part of our heritage. Both presume a higher calling outside ourselves and both are in need of our protection,” IFAW President Fred O'Regan said.

The exhibit will be presented by IFAW and the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod from May 14 to May 26 at the Cotuit Center for the Arts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

They should take the show on the road. This is a message that needs telling often. And as the old cliche says: A picture is worth a thousand words!
