Animal welfare, animal protection and humane education professionals are invited to attend the American Humane 2007 Annual Conference in Alexandria, Va., Sept. 27-29. In celebration of AHA’s 130th anniversary, the theme of the conference will be the enduring mission of promoting humanity while protecting children and animals.
Conference highlights will include a national leadership forum on a futuristic view of animal sheltering, an exhibit hall featuring a variety of animal products and services, and AHA’s 130th Birthday Bash. Each day will feature workshops on a variety of topics in the following categories: Shelter Operations, Management, Humane Education, Field Services, The Link, and Cats and Dogs.
