The American Veterinary Medical Association and Fort Doge Animal Health are co-sponsoring National Pet Wellness Month in October. The campaign highlights ways to help veterinarians inform clients about the pet-aging process and the importance of twice-a-year exams.
The promotions include: an in-clinic education kit for clients, a national public-awareness campaign, feline health and aging information, new educational materials for pet owners. Other resources for clinics are available at the NPWM website, including wellness exam report and disease-risk assessment forms.
