Stars of the film Napoleon Dynamite, including writer/director Jared Hess, have autographed 50 Napoleon Dynamite Talking Toys to aid cats and other animals hurt by Hurricane Katrina. The auction will take place online at Napoleon Dynamite Merchandise for three weeks starting Nov. 25.

Wearing a Vote for Pedro T-shirt, moon boots and Walkman head-phones, the Napoleon doll says 18 different lines from the movie with a press of a button. Although the 50 dolls being auctioned are signed collectors items, the doll is currently available in stores nationwide.

The money raised will be donated to Forte Animal Rescue, a non-profit rescue group based in Los Angeles, which will distribute the funds to various animal welfare groups in areas affected by Hurricane Katrina.
