A Maryland online poker player says he was down on his luck and losing until his cat jumped on his lap and turned his luck around.
"I was really short stacked," says Bruce Bartfeld, of his dwindling pile of digital poker chips. Then Sadie decided to jump up and sit on my lap and my luck changed for the better. They say cats have nine lives... Sadie certainly gave me a lifeline."
To say the least. Bartfield stayed in the game, and ended up winning a Ferrari coupe in the online poker game.
