Henry the CatOn April 14-15, the San Diego Zoo will host a book signing for Henrys World, the true-life tale of a cat who lost a front limb after being hit by a car.

The book details the life of Henry, aka Tripod, and his human mothers, Cathy Conheim and Donna Brooks, as told from Henrys point of view.

The signing takes place from 1 to 3 p.m. both days at the zoos main gift shop. Proceeds benefit animals in need. Organizations that have previously benefited from book sales include the Mississippi Animal Rescue League, the St. Francis Animal Sanctuary, Project Wildlife in Tylertown, Miss., and the Rancho Coastal Humane Society in San Diego.

In addition to copies of Henrys World, other Henry merchandise, such as a birthday calendar, and copies of a new childrens book, What's the Matter with Henry, a True Tale of a Three-legged Cat, will also be for sale.
Henry, who lives near San Diego with his family, will not be present at the signing because zoo regulations prohibit domesticated animals from entering to protect zoo animals from illness. However, Conheim will be on hand to autograph copies of Henrys World.
