Cat AdoptionCat Galaxy, a Scottsdale, Arizona-based internet radio station for cats, is planning a live 10-hour broadcast in June to promote Cat Adoption Month.

The special show, called Code Red Cats, will broadcast live on Cat Galaxy from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Arizona time (11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern time) on Saturday, June 10th.

Cat and kitten season has already begun and many cats are being brought or turned into shelters in record numbers. This broadcast will hopefully spread the message that these felines need good and loving homes and that spaying and neutering can help end the cycle of overpopulation, said Cat Galaxys Nohl Rosen.

June marks Adopt-a-Cat month but we hope that as entertaining as this broadcast will be it might convince humans that this not the only time that cats need help. Many (cats) are awaiting adoption all the time and can use our support, Rosen said.

For more information about the broadcast, email Rosen or visit the website.
