NASCAR racer Greg Biffle and some of his racing colleagues will unveil the Greg Biffle Foundations 2007 NASCAR Pet Calendar during a press conference tomorrow.
The new calendar, which is the foundations second annual, will be unveiled at 2 p.m. Pacific time Friday, June 23, at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, Calif.
The calendar features top NASCAR drivers and their families in non-race settings with their pets. The calendar proceeds benefit the work that the Greg Biffle Foundation does with shelters across the country.
Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 National Guard Ford, and his longtime girlfriend, Nicole Lunders, are the proud owners of three dogs. It was their love for animals that drove them to start the foundation that focuses on the well-being of animals and awareness of pet adoption.
The foundation, which launched in 2005, has received national recognition for its dedication to animal welfare, and Biffle and recording artist Joss Stone are this years spokespeople for the North Shore Animal League in New York.
The Greg Biffle Foundation serves as an advocate for improving the well-being of animals by engaging the power and passion of the motorsports industry. The foundation donates to local Humane Societies, no-kill animal shelters, spay and neuter clinics and the Animal Adoption League.
