In conjunction with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) annual Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat month campaign, Fresh Step cat litter is providing cat adoption starter kits to new cat owners. The kit contains a litter box, a box of Fresh Step Scoopable Cat Litter with Odor Eliminating Carbon, a cat litter scoop, a Welcome Home Kitty! brochure with cat-owning tips, a picture frame and a cat toy.
People who adopted a new cat or kitten in June are invited to fill out and mail in a registration form by July 31, 2006. To receive the kit, owners must also include a copy of the adoption certificate provided by the animal shelter. Cats must have been adopted from an animal shelter, not a private party.
