Tuesday, July 11 is the deadline to receive a discounted rate for attendance at the annual Feline Conservation Federation (FCF) Convention, scheduled for July 27 to 29 in Cincinnati.
The FCF will celebrate its 50th anniversary during the convention. Registration is $130 per person until July 11 and $145 after.
Among the items on the agenda are a behind-the-scenes tour of the Cincinnati Zoo and a private showing of the Cat Ambassadors by Cathryn Hilker and her feline trainers, both Friday, July 28.
And Saturday, July 29, Jim Sanderson, feline researcher for Conservation International, will talk about his latest camera trap findings on the Chinese Mountain Cat, Flat-Headed Cat, Bay Cat and more.
July 26, the day before the convention starts, an eight-hour wild feline husbandry course will be taught at the official FCF convention hotel. Course fee is $95.
