In an effort to reduce the number of unwanted and homeless cats in the mid-coast Maine region, the Humane Society of Knox County, Maine, is partnering with area veterinarians to offer a free feline neuter clinic for male cats.
The next clinic is scheduled for Sunday, July 16. Surgeries are by appointment only. Knox County residents that care for an un-neutered male cat can call the Humane Society to make an appointment.
Only residents of Knox County that care for an un-neutered male cat are eligible to participate.
The clinics started in March and to date, the Humane Society says it has neutered over 75 cats for free.
