Jo is the latest cat to be voted out of the Meow Mix House by the panel of feline experts. Although she didn't win the grand prize - becoming feline vice president of research and development for Meow Mix - she won an even greater reward: a new home with a new loving family in the St. Louis area.
Jo represented the St. Charles, Mo., Humane Society in the Meow Mix House while she competed with nine other cats in the first feline reality show. The cats lived together in a specially designed house on Madison Ave., in New York City, participating in feline competitions such as the Purr Off and the Feline Makeover.
Jo still is eligible to win the Viewers Choice award even though she was voted off early in the competition. Jos fans can vote for her at www.meowmixhouse.com. Visitors to the site can also view the gallery, read the cats bios and watch episodes of the reality TV show that airs weekly on Animal Planet.
As for Jo, she's back home in the St. Charles area, reunited with her feline friend, Lexi, and settling into a new family.
