Just in time for summer travel, Motel 6 has released two podcasts providing tips for safe summer traveling with pets.
Podcasts are downloadable audio recordings that you can listen to on your computer, or put into an mp3 player. Motel 6s pet travel podcasts were recorded by Jack Hanna, director emeritus of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.
The two podcasts, one of which lasts under two minutes, and the other of which is less than five minutes in duration, are available for download at www.Motel6.com.
In the shorter of the two, Hanna offers five short preparation tips to provide peace of mind that comes with knowing one's pet is in safe hands while traveling.
In the second podcast, Hanna shares an adventure he had with a pair of Japanese snow monkeys who decided to take a little unplanned vacation of their own from the Columbus Zoo. Hanna shares a number of tips which include conducting research, settling the itinerary and using a trip planner before the vacation, in addition to the monkey escapade story.
Hanna, also known as Jungle Jack, is recognizable by his khaki safari outfit and deep tan. In addition to hosting the Jack Hanna's Animal Adventures television series, he's also a regular guest on various TV talk shows, including Good Morning America, Larry King Live and The Late Show With David Letterman.
