Romeo, the sweet polydactyl cat from Kitten Rescue in Los Angeles, is the latest cat voted out of the Meow Mix House by a panel of feline experts. In a mock scandal created by the producers of the Meow Mix House reality show episodes, Romeo was discovered to have a family of kittens that he did not report to the show before entering the house. When the scandal was exposed, Romeo was asked to leave.
Romeo was one of 10 feline contestants living in a specially designed house on Madison Avenue in New York City. The 10 cats are competing Big Brother style, living together in the Meow Mix House and competing in various contests to see which cat will outlast the others.
Though he is no longer eligible to win the Meow Mix House grand prizea position as feline vice president of research and development for Meow MixRomeo wins an even better prize. He has been adopted by a new family in the Los Angeles area and comes home from New York with a years supply of Meow Mix. Even better, Romeo is still eligible to win the Voters Choice Award.
