Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Inc., and Veterinary Ventures, Inc., are teaming up to give away more than 1,600 free, mechanized cat drinking fountains.
Participants can enter the free sweepstakes by applying online, by mail or by phone. Drawings for the free cat drinking fountains will take place each week from May 21 to Dec. 17, 2007.
The giveaway is in conjunction with the launch of Hill’s Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Feline, a new line of therapeutic pet food developed for cat bladder health.
“We often see cats brought into the office for bladder health problems. In addition to feeding the right pet food … increasing water intake can contribute to a pet's health and help avoid any of these unforeseen problems,” said Craig Prior, Hill’s Pet Nutrition's spokesman. “This is why the partnership is so ideal. We hope that this promotion will help pets obtain the right nutritional combination, so they can stay happy, healthy animals.”
