The emergency animal medical technicians (EAMTs) of the Arizona Humane Society are back on the air in “Animal Planet Heroes: Phoenix.” On Feb. 12, three episodes of the popular series will air on the Animal Planet network. The show will follow the EAMTs as they rescue sick, injured and abused animals throughout the state of Arizona.

The 17 EAMTs featured on the show are trained to give emergency medical care to all types of animals — not just cats and dogs. Driving fully equipped animal ambulances, the team members rescue wildlife from forest fires, extract animals from sinkholes or rivers, and seize cats and dogs from abusive owners. Throughout the course of a year, the team rescues more than
10,000 animals.

Viewers of the reality show “Animal Planet Heroes: Phoenix” can watch the EAMTs in action. Episodes scheduled for Feb. 12 will show a cat rescued from a palm tree, a dog saved from oncoming traffic, and how the EAMTs are called upon to help animals common in the Arizona desert.

I think it is great show & they do such excellent work. I am glad they are putting on new episodes. They do do excellent work. But sometime's I think they should try &give some of the animals a chance instead of putting them down so quickly.
