Firehouse Dog

Celebrities Support the American Humane Association

Several celebrities lend their acting abilities to public service announcements about AHA’s programs for pets and children.

Josh Hutcherson and Rex, the human and canine stars of “Firehouse Dog,” speak out about the importance of spaying and neutering pets in a public service announcement filmed on behalf of the American Humane Association. The spot is one of several produced by celebrities including actress Emily Watson (“Miss Potter,” “Red Dragon”) and director Chris Noonan (“Babe,” “Miss Potter”).

As AHA plans to launch a new national public education and PSA campaign, Noonan, Watson and Hutcherson lend their talents to help spread AHA’s messages to benefit the health and welfare of animals and children. Other spots will be filmed by actress Emily Procter (“CSI: Miami”) and actor John O’Hurley (“Seinfeld,” “Dancing With the Stars”).
