To help reduce the numbers of stray and feral cats in Baltimore, Alley Cat Allies will host free workshops at two area shelters, providing information on trap-neuter-return programs. The free workshops will help Baltimore residents manage feral cat colonies in their neighborhoods, while also allowing current caregivers to network with one another.
The workshops will explain the basics of a trap-neuter-return program and detail how to effectively care for colonies of feral cats. Attendees will learn how to use a humane box trap and receive tips on how to safely deter cats from where they are not wanted.
The workshops will take place at the Maryland SPCA and the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter. Dates and times for the workshops are:
