Shock rocker Marilyn Manson and his wife, burlesque artist Dita Von Teese, who have filed for divorce reportedly are fighting about who gets custody of the cats.
The couple reportedly has two cats, named Aleister and Lily White, plus two dachshunds. A source told the New York Post in its Jan. 9 edition that Von Teese took all the animals when she moved out of the couple’s home, but that Manson wants some of them back.
“They are fighting over custody of the cats - not so much the dogs,” the source said.
Manson has had one of the cats, Lily, a Devon Rex, since at least 2002. Manson painted a watercolor portrait of Lily and has featured her prominently on his website.
Manson and Von Teese dated for several years before marrying in November 2005. Von Teese filed for divorce in December 2006, citing irreconcilable differences.
