To help pet lovers celebrate Valentine’s Day, Purina created a forum to send “kittie-mail” and “doggie-mail” for those who’d like to send personalized e-cards while simultaneously helping homeless animals.
The e-cards allow users to create customized Valentine’s Day cards by uploading a photo of their own pet and recording a personalized message to send along with it. Users also may include props, backgrounds and typed notes to create a unique e-card. For each e-card sent from now through Valentine’s Day, Purina will donate 50 cents to help homeless cats and dogs around the country.
“Valentine’s Day is no longer a day to celebrate with just our human loved ones — it’s about our pets too,” said Kathy Santos, dog trainer and author.
