Vote to Help Wild Animals
Tigers are one of the animals featured in Animal Planet's Wild 100 Viewer’s Choice Poll.
As Animal Planet counts down its Wild 100 animals this month, the television network invites viewers to vote for their favorite animals in the Wild 100 Viewer’s Choice Poll. Realizing that more than 80 percent of the animals on the Wild 100 list are classified as “near threatened” to “critically endangered,” Animal Planet will contribute $1 for every vote cast in the poll, donating up to $100,000 to World Wildlife Fund to help raise awareness about threatened and endangered animals, such as tigers, jaguars and mountain lions.

The Wild 100 Viewer’s Choice Poll is part of Animal Planet’s Wild 100 countdown. Each night for the next five weeks, Animal Planet will reveal another animal in its Wild 100 countdown. Some popular wildcats have made the list, with the jaguar ranked at No. 34, the cougar (or mountain lion) appearing at No. 27 and the leopard listed at No. 22.

To cast your vote for your favorite animal, visit the Animal Planet website. More information about the Wild 100 and a complete listing of show times are also available on the website.
