What you need:
Baked and cooled cupcakes
Frosting
M&Ms or other colored candy.
Large marshmallows
Decorating gel
Wafers

Step 1: Frost the cupcake.

Step 2: Using a knife, cut a large marshmallow into three equal-sized circles.

Step 3: Place two of the marshmallow circles on the frosted cupcake. These are the cat’s cheeks.

Step 4: Insert an M&M sideways into the cupcake just above the marshmallows. This is the cat’s nose.

Step 5: Cut a square piece from a wafer, and cut the square piece into two triangles.

Step 6: Place each wafer triangle at the top of the cupcake – they’ll stick to the frosting. These are the cat’s ears.

Step 7: Use the decorating gel to create the cat’s eyes and whiskers.

Step 8:
Enjoy your chubby-cheeked kitty confection!

Cat Cupcake Decorating Tips
Tip 1: Always start with cooled cupcakes. Frosting and decorations on a still-warm cupcake are likely to melt off.
Tip 2: Try using pretzels for whiskers. Decorating gel can make your cupcake cat sleepy, mad or happy.
Tip 3: Use food coloring and white frosting to create your favorite cat coat colors.

Have fun and throw your own cat-cupcake-decorating party!
