Keep life interesting for your indoor kitten. Here are a few simple suggestions:

1. Adopt a second feline companion.

2. Play games daily with your kitten.

3. Install a window perch.

4. Create a "cat room," complete with an indoor jungle gym, climbers, scratching post and toys.

5. Buy a kitty wildlife video.

6. Build an outdoor enclosure with pet door access.

7. Grow a "cat grass" garden.

8. Offer a variety of toys.

I am wondering if having a fish tank would help with the bordome issue. I am thinking of getting a 50 gallon aquarium. Yeah, I know. Make it where the cat can't get in it or knock it over, but aside from all of that, will it cure some of the bordome when I am at work? For both fish and cat, that is.

I tried to grow cat grass once, but all I ended up with was weeds. Maybe I'll try again.

Dear CC.com
Hello to you ALL! Hey, nice and interesting article!! I liked some of your ideas, however, the part about getting a new kitten is a good idea sometimes, but sometimes it can cause problems with your “Number One Kitty Kid”, if he/she is the jealous type. Thanks for the article!
Love ya
