Why You Should Groom

Need a reason to groom your cat? Here are six.

1. A good brushing helps maintain your cat's shiny coat and healthy skin.

2. The more you brush the less loose hair you'll have around your house and on your clothes.

3. Regular brushing helps reduce the amount of hair the cat ingests while grooming, helping to prevent hairballs.

4. You may detect skin growths, scabs, abscesses or other potential health problems as you run your hands along your cat's body.

5. Grooming helps prevent painful mats, especially in longhaired breeds.

6. Grooming is a wonderful way to bond with your cat.

How do u prevent cat dander? I have tried different brushes and the Pet Zoom Brush seems to work best with getting the loose hair anf and some dander will adhere to it but the dander is the hardest. I don't wash my cats and they stay inside for the most part, I let them out in our back yard, it is a six foot vinyl fence and they are too old, fat and declared on the front paws
They lounge around and come in after a short stay outside. We treat them with a good flea medication. Pretty expensive and our yard is treated pet friendly as well. Appreciate any thoughts
