Diet and Digestion Issues

Learn why veterinarians are better equipped than ever to help with diet and digestion issues.

Elaine Wexler-Mitchell, D.V.M.

One might think that feeding a cat is a simple task that requires little thought. Actually, cats like humans require certain essential nutrients for good health. Consider that what you feed your cat affects several different parts of his body such as teeth, gums, intestine, bowel, and even skin and coat. Choosing the right food for your cat is an important decision. Likewise, monitoring weight and hairball production are important factors in your cats overall digestive health.

this was a waste of a page. If you want help with what is appropriate for feline nutrition, check out http://www.catinfo.org a website run by a vet who studies feline nutrition
